These terms cover quotes and orders placed through this website, run by Strasheim3D (New England, North Dakota). By requesting a quote or placing an order, you agree to them.
The price shown when you upload a file is an automatic estimate. Every order is reviewed by a person, and the confirmed price (including shipping or delivery) is emailed to you with a payment link. The confirmed price can differ from the estimate. Nothing is charged until you pay that confirmed quote. We may decline any order, for example if a file can't be printed well or falls under "Files we won't print" below.
When you upload a file, you confirm that you own the design or have permission to have it printed, and that printing it doesn't infringe anyone's copyright, trademark, patent or other rights. You keep all rights to your designs. You give us permission to use your files only to quote, print and support your orders. If someone claims a file you sent infringes their rights, you agree to be responsible for that claim.
3D printing builds parts in layers, so small layer lines, minor surface marks and small dimensional differences (typically a fraction of a millimeter) are normal and aren't defects. Strength depends on the design, material and print orientation. Unless we agree otherwise in writing, parts aren't tested or certified for any particular use, and you're responsible for deciding whether a part is suitable for how you'll use it.
Payment is made by card through Stripe when you accept your confirmed quote. Printing starts after payment. Sales tax is added where required.
Shipping time depends on the carrier and isn't guaranteed. Once a package is handed to the carrier, delivery is in their hands, but if a part arrives damaged, see the refund policy. Local delivery is arranged with you directly.
See the refund policy.
To the extent the law allows, our total responsibility for any order is limited to the amount you paid for it, and we aren't responsible for indirect or consequential losses, such as downtime or lost profits, from the use or failure of a printed part.
We may update these terms; the version in effect when you place an order applies to that order. These terms are governed by the laws of North Dakota.
